Glerups - Manufactured with care. 100% pure and natural wool is used for all slippers. The wool is processed naturally and the product is closely tracked from sheep to foot. The wool is washed in soft water and then carded. The carded wool is processed into socks and felted with steam. Finally, the soles are glued and sewn onto the socks before the finish makes the slippers ready to ship. For Glerups, it has always been a clear goal to produce all products with respect to people and the environment. Therefore, the wool is mechanically cleaned (where possible) to avoid all unnecessary chemicals, and only paints are used that are free from heavy metals and toxic azo dyes. The unique composition and workmanship of the wool makes the slippers warm and comfortable, even when you wear them barefoot. The wool is breathable and can absorb up to 35% moisture, so that the slippers always feel dry and warm. The combination of good wear resistance and high moisture absorption cannot be surpassed by any other material.

Please note: due to the natural treatment of the wool, traces of small vegetable fibres may still be present in the felt. In addition, the coarsest wool fibres can work out of the felt, so that the slippers "run off" in the first days of use. This is natural, and the fibres only need to be peeled off.

Felt ankle boots made from 100% pure natural wool with a sole made of soft, vegetable-tanned calf leather. The shape of the shoe follows the contours of the foot and ensures a secure fit on the foot. The shaft ends at the ankle bone.
